i want one of these so bad. i’m tempted to buy myself a machine (like i have that kind of money to spare). i wish i knew where there was one in LA.

They’re around. I’ve definitely gotten one from a gas station here. And KFC used to have them? That was a couple of years ago, though. They have a facebook fan page and they’ll give you a number to call to find the closest one to you.
